Warning Signs Of Heart Attack

With the steep rise in heart attack patients one needs to be very conscious and take cognizance of the symptoms occurring. Every year around 1 million people in US die of cardiac arrest and the most startling factor is half of them die within an hour of the onset of symptoms. For every instance of heart attack the symptoms are different but some symptoms are common to all types and should be taken into account to find if the person has the possible threat of heart attack.

It is not necessary the chest pain is the first warning sign of heart attack as the symptoms may vary from individual to individual. Some of the possible symptoms can be shortness of breath, pain and discomfort in the chest, the chest pain radiating to jaw, neck or back, feeling week, lightheaded or sometimes faint and dizziness or numbness in the limbs. These are the alarming signals for you to take the timely action if your body shows these signs.

There is no second thought to it that these signs are sometimes mistaken as indigestion, heartburn, stress and so on and is ignored. The best thing would be to consult the doctor and find out the actual reason of the symptoms. The worst part is the heart attacks that are silent and do not shows any signs or symptoms whatsoever and is more dangerous. This is common among diabetic patients.
